People can't stop talking about the bad smell currently plaguing Cork city

IF YOU’RE PASSING through Cork today, it is likely that you will encounter what has been christened as the “Cork pong,” a foul smell that is currently plaguing the city.

As upsetting as it may be, people can’t stop talking about it.

What does it smell like, you ask? Well, it has been likened to rotten eggs and raw sewage in Haiti.

The reason for the smell remains somewhat of a mystery, although some are attributing it to the tide.
